ABOUT T.O.U.C.H OUTREACH

Here at T.O.U.C.H Outreach, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2020, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. T.O.U.C.H Outreach emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.

OUR MISSION

It is all too easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives. Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of society, and deal with them head on. We have set out to aid those who need it most. T.O.U.C.H Outreach is here to help, and we believe that change is possible when we put our hearts and minds to it.

What are the 6 Basic Human Needs?

Put simply, they are the fundamental building blocks to life that every person needs to be fulfilled, to live a meaningful and worthwhile life of quality. Each of us prioritizes certain needs above others, all depending on what we hold most important in life. At T.O.U.C.H, we recognize the importance of these basic needs, and hold them as values in everything we do, each interaction on the street, event held, and person helped, we keep these needs in mind as the driving force behind a person's actions and how we can best help them in any given situation.

Security & Unpredictability

Security (certainty) - is the assurance you can avoid pain and gain pleasure. A sense of safety and familiarity.
Unpredictability (variety) - is the need for the unknown, change, or new stimuli, it helps us feel alive.

Significance & Love

Significance - is feeling unique, important, special or needed.
Love - is a strong feeling of closeness or union with someone or something.

Growth & Contribution

Growth - is an expansion of capacity, capability, or understanding (personally, spiritually, mentally, and physically).
Contribution - is a sense of service and focus on helping, giving to and supporting others.
